Recently, we stumbled upon this blog called “A Teacher Writes”, and no it isn’t that teacher who wrote about her students. This is a teacher who writes a very insightful and intelligent blog. We found it to be quite interesting to read, and furthermore the blog provoked a great deal of thought. It may be one of the most widely read blogs in the midwest region. Whatever the case we wanted to share it with you. The link to the blog is http://ateacherswrites.wordpress.com/. The blog covers lots of interesting questions such as the consideration that Google may in fact be detrimental to the research process for students looking for primary sources, and the importance of teaching students to find and use primary source data. The blog also covers issues such as the lack of grammar being taught today and the importance of grammar.
