With the NCTM NOLA conference only 8 days away, the team at Teacher’s Professional Resource is full steam ahead with preparations. We’re packing up our math games and math-themed storybooks. Our bags are stuffed to the brim with Common Core aligned activities. We are so excited to meet the many talented and dedicated math teachers that will be attending the conference! How could we not bring all our best stuff? It is thrilling to meet people who are as excited about polynomials and equations as we are!
To continue with our mission to be conceptually creative and share the most effective math products, we are adding some fun new activities to our booth #1037.
- We will have Captain Mathinator and the Sneaky Subtractor in NOLA for photo opportunities. Have your picture taken in our photo booth— the person with the most creative photo wins copies of our new math-themed storybooks!
- Dr. Debra, the Doctor of Fun, will be in to make a few short presentations about decreasing math anxiety, creating a positive math environment and tips for engaging kids in math with math games and math activities.
- We will be hosting a Cocktail Hour at the Marriott from 5:00pm-6:30pm on Thursday, April 10th with drinks, light appetizers, freebies and loads of math fun with the Teacher’s Professional Resource team and the math-loving Whozits.
In addition to our engaging activities, we will have all of our great math games for kids. We will have our award-winning math expression game, Who’s Counting in addition to SIX NEW PRODUCTS! Tune in Monday for a sneak peek at one of our team’s favorite new products!
